Red Water Bottle

I did this in the spring semester of my freshman year of college, and it quickly became one of my favorite projects. I love how it turned out, and I’m especially proud of the pictures I took to showcase the final design. From the start, I wanted to create something that wasn’t just another ordinary water bottle but rather a piece that evoked emotion and intrigue. My goal was to break away from conventional designs and craft something that made people think twice before taking a sip.

I aimed to instill a sense of danger and unpredictability—almost as if drinking from it carried some sort of risk. Whether it gave the illusion of scalding hot liquid inside or an unsettling, mysterious substance, I wanted the design to play with perception and create an experience rather than just serve a function. Every element, from the shape to the colors and textures, was carefully chosen to heighten this effect. I enjoyed experimenting with different visual elements to achieve this look, and in the end, I was really satisfied with how it all came together. Looking back, this project was not only a fun creative challenge but also an opportunity to push the boundaries of everyday product design.
